More Change is coming......

Cambio's (Transfers) are this week.  The Elders were contacted on Sat, to tell them their assignments.  He will continue to live with Elders Silvester and Jarvis, but his companion, Elder Munoz completed his mission and went home on Sunday.  They will most certainly keep in touch!  Pierce will be getting Companion # 3 any day.  He's been hoping for a non-English speaking Comp.  He just might get his wish.............

Here are a few excerpts from today's email:

"My new companion is going to be Elder Contreras.  (I don't know how to spell it). He's either from Argentina or Bolivia; He’s been on his mission for 8 months.  I don't know anything else really…, only that he'll have an awesome time here!"

"We were in Centro the other day, and some girl was by herself and didn't speak Spanish, seriously, she had no clue.   So, I went over and talked to her.  https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/images/cleardot.gif It went well.  (Talking about the gospel) she was from Denmark actually, backpacking through South America by herself.  Arica was basically a pit stop, pretty cool."

"The lesson with Bastian (our investigator) was really good.  He’s really interested.  It's funny because he told his girlfriend when he starting dating her that he wouldn't make the same mistake his brother did by joining the church. But now he really wants to learn and progress. He basically said that he is pretty sure that the things he knows about the church are true, but wants to know more.  (Especially the Book of Mormon) I think he started to read it because he told us he would."

"Jordin is doing good in the MTC.  I write him only in Spanish, and he writes me in Portuguese, so that's cool."

" I have a ton more pictures, but the camera just died, and we are really far from the house."
