Here's a few excerpts from today's email:
"I didn’t even know today was a holiday!"
" We had an 80’s party in the branch which was cool. We can’t dance, but we helped serve drinks and food."
"The stake president, or district president came to church yesterday and told us how to sacrifice a lamb in detail. That was pretty weird. It was during his talk about sacrifice and he started it off with that."
"This week we ran into a lot more problems with people. "D" is having major marital problems. There is another family who’s really good, and now all of a sudden they are basically teetering on inactivity. We visited with them, and they feel better now. When the people stop home teaching here, it all hits the fan!
"K's baby is due any day now. "C" (her boyfriend) did
get a job though. He sells gas around in a car." ?????
" In about 80% of the couples here, one is active and doing well, but the other one tends to drag the other one down. It's frustrating."
The Branch's 80's party!
Yep, that's a REAL car/truck in the church.
"This baby loves me. This is her brother, he's 12. I always talk to him because he's a funny, all over the place kind of kid! The family is recent converts."
"It rained, and since our roof is horrible, we got some water in our house."
"SO CLEAN after the rain!!!"
The misty mountains and snow covered mountains behind them.
